Queen Frostine

This is my entry for 's Candyland Contest.

This is the original version of Queen Frostine. I loved her when she was still like this. Character is own by Hasbro, but this pattern is mine.

She took me about a day to crochet. Boy do my fingers hurt!!! But I think she came out well. I'm not to good with faces, but I tried. I did do something new; I put pipe cleaners in the arms and made the arms and body at the same time. Her lower half has no legs, but an white underskirt. The staff and crown was actually quite easy to make. I was so accomplished with doll period! hehe

Measurements: 11 in tall, and 10 in at widest point
Time: 1 day
Yarn:
Red Heart's Super Saver Yarn in Blue, Soft White, Aran, and Petal Pink.
Bernat's Softee Baby Yarn in Baby Denim Marl
Needle: Size E/3.25 MM, Size F/3.75 MM, Size G/4.25 MM Crochet Needles
Extras: Party Straw Stirrer for pole of staff, and black beads for eyes.

Update 10/29/13:
Well, Queen Frostine just sold for $5 to a lady at my dad's work. Awesome!
